Gravity Forms has done a major update to its User Interface (UI).

For a video overview of the new functionality please check out the Gravity Forms marking information at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhkjU41LETk

Take some time to explore the new User Interface that Gravity Forms has launched.  Practice viewing and editing forms and become familiar with it. Most items are easier to find and more intuitive.

Here Member Splash is highlighting the biggest changes so that you can become comfortable with them before you need to update or change a form.  The new UI takes advantage of the full screen and provides overall consistency in displaying items that you use regularly.  The most noticeable change you will need to remember is where to find your field settings.

Let us take a quick look here before you start working on a live form. Please remember if you are practicing on a form that you use frequently, make a copy of it first!

The Main Gravity forms Screen:

This screen now has a new look and feel

Form level 'Settings' and 'Entries' are at the top.

Form Setting are directly next to the name of your form. Click the 'settings' to display all of the options you have for you entire form.

Your Standard Fields are still to the right of the screen:

All the fields you have come to work with remain under the drop downs.

Fields are now easier to see & Setting for each field are directly above each field.

Just hover over the field  you want and the field setting will appear.

Fields settings now appear to the right of the screen

Click the new 'settings' icon and all of your field settings will appear to the right. There are 4 drop downs where you will find the same setting as in the old UI: General, Appearance, Advanced and Conditional Logic.

In this example we have highlighted the Name Field which you work with regularly. The General drop down will have setting for the Name field, while the functionality has not changed the location has so please make a note if this change.

In this example we have highlighted an Account Number field.  The General drop down will have your Label and Description as well as your other settings.

This way just a brief review of the update, take some not to explore the full functionality.
