Here is some sample communication that you might use to welcome new members when you offer them membership.  When you send this email from your Mailchimp account, the merge tags will be replaced by data from your Member Splash account.

We are pleased to offer you membership to Swim Club Name Here.  To accept this offer, please complete the following steps:


  1. Go to (URL for your Member Splash member login screen)

  2. The username for your account is *|LOGIN|*

  3. The password for your account is (put password here and make sure it matches their account).  You will see a reminder when you log in that you are using the default password. Please take a moment to update it to something secure and be sure to store that password somewhere. If you ever lose your password you can use the password reset link, but this requires a valid email address on file. You can store one email address per adult member by clicking the edit icon next to their name on the account management screen.

  4. Update your profile with all required information. To add additional family members, use the + icon. Our check-in system uses head shots to verify member identities. Members are encouraged to upload their own pictures by clicking on the camera icon next to the name of the member, then following the instructions to upload a photo and save it.  Please make sure that the picture is only of that particular member and is a head shot. Click Submit at the bottom of the page when you are done updating your profile.

  5. Move to the Payments screen by clicking here in the red box at the top of the screen, or find the Payments tab in the upper right corner. You will be prompted to pay your (insert the names of the fees your club charges new members). If you would like to add a house guest or babysitter to your account (if your club offers these), or purchase Guest Credits at a discounted rate, you can do so at this time.

  6. Complete your payment using either credit card, debit card or check. You will receive a confirmation from us upon completion of that payment.
